Statement on the Completion of Practice Hours as Required and in Conformity to the Course Objectives and Expected Outcomes (NRS-490)
I, (INSERT NAME), verify that I have completed (NUMBER OF) practice hours in association with the goals and objectives for this course. I also verify that all required course approvals are in place from my faculty and practice mentor. I logged in the practice hours every day as required and made sure I completed the daily objectives which built up to the overall objectives. I worked closely with my clinical mentor or preceptor and did all that I was supposed to do according to the instructions. I was moved from one section to another but in an orderly manner. The total number of hours was divided appropriately such that I spent an amount of commensurate time in every section as per the magnitude of practical experience that I needed to accumulate in a particular department or section.Completion Statement NRS-490 Essay

I however also faced some challenges as is to be expected. One of these is that there are not many preceptors (mentors) available. As a result, one mentor has to be given several students to handle. This placed me and the other student colleagues at some disadvantage because we could not access our mentor some of the times that we needed them most. This was because they may have been with another student or attending to their patients. Luckily, my mentor was very good, understanding, and hardworking. She would always find time, even outside the official hours, to explain to me what I had not understood or could not do during her absence. All in all, the experience was worthwhile and I am confident that I am ready for the clinical area once I qualify and get licensure and accreditation. It was overall a fantastic and enjoyable practical experience.Completion Statement NRS-490 Essay
