Emma is a 8 Y/o, Englishspeaking female. Emma was agitatedafter returning home from school and began tothrow items at vehicleand damage property inside of the home. While Emma struck her foster sibling 3 times in the back with an unknow item for no reason and then went outside. Once outside bothfoster parents advisethat Emma began to running in the roadway and darting in front of vehicleas they drove by. Her foster mom indicated: “ I believe that without care or Tx Emma will cause serious bodily injury to herself or other and does not wish to receive help”. Emma has been baker acted in three different time beforedue to her behavior and the parents believe that her medication needsto be adjusted. Emma denied S/I, H/I, but stated she does hear voicesand see things like smiling dogs, and ghost. The DCF case worker reported: “Emma has trouble sharing with other children her age. We have observed the following behaviors: “irritability, anger, and frequent, intense temper outbursts, impulsive, oppositional with authority’. Emma was oriented x4 with normal gait, eye contact, and good hygiene, demeanor was cooperative, activity and speech normal. Her thoughtprocess, contentand mood were with normal limits, affect congruentto mood. Emma reported: “thatshe did not go to school”,“I was suspended for a week”, “I ran away and pushed over 4 desks and ran away off campus”. She indicated: “there’s something n my head that I can’t get out”. Emma lives with her 5 foster siblings, and 3 adults. Emma indicated: “I don t like live there, there are too manty kids”. But stated had food to eat, and a bed to sleep in. Emma stated: “my old foster sister told me, nobody cares about you crying”.
